Sincerely, Your Inconvenient Wife by Julia Wolf

Sincerely, Your Inconvenient Wife

by Julia Wolf

Self-Published

Book 2 in The Harder They Fall Series

I have this thing about saying ‘yes’. I do it frequently, and with abandon.

Skydiving on a whim? Yes.

A last minute getaway to Ireland? Yes!

Agreeing to a marriage of convenience with sexy and arrogant Luca Rossi for two years? Um…yes?

It should have been a simple arrangement. Luca needs a wife to clean up his image as the new CEO of Rossi Motors, and I need my mother to stop trying to fix me up on terrible dates. In two years, we’ll part amicably, no attachments or hard feelings.

Anything that happens between us will be outside the confines of our arrangement.

And by anything, I mean falling into Luca’s bed. Which I also do frequently and with abandon.

But nothing is ever as simple as it seems. It isn’t long before I fall for my motorcycle-riding, dirty-talking, sexy-as-sin husband.

I know I should be careful. This is just temporary, after all, and Luca and I want completely different futures.

The thing is, when I’m with Luca, all I want to do is say, ‘yes’, no matter how reckless that would be.

Before I begin, I would like to thank Valentine PR, and Julia Wolf, for sending me an arc of Sincerely, Your Inconvenient Wife, in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Immediately, the title of this book got me! It conveys so much information, without even reading the synopsis.

I knew it was going to be a fake relationship, marriage of convenience. I was sold on the title alone.

I was a little nervous going into it, because I have never read Julia Wolf's work before. Anytime I read a book from a new to me author, I go in a bit wary.

Luckily, Sincerely, Your Inconvenient Wife was great!

The writing is solid. The story doesn't feel like it stalls at all, and has the build up to the climax I look for in all books I read. It's not too long, or too short.

Julia Wolf took time to invest in the relationship with her characters, and gives us content that shows them getting to know one another and falling in love. The chemistry is great, and the banter is good.

The romance felt natural, and there is plenty of steamy scenes. Seriously, the sex is hot and the dirty talk is on fire.

While I don't think it's going to stand out amongst the hundreds of romances I've read, it's a good book. I added the first book to my TBR, and I look forward to the next one.

Coming soon after publication on July 20th, 2023!
