Book 6 in the Slayers Hockey Series

It seems like a solid plan…

• Get hitched, Vegas style.

• Lose each other’s numbers, permanently.

• Avoid pitfalls of real marriage forever.

…Until I sober up, and my wife is already gone.

It’s what we agreed to. But I don’t like it.

A year later, I find her. I have another solid plan to undo our mistake.

Only now, I’m not so sure the cocktail napkin with our prenup can protect me from the one thing I swore I wouldn’t do… fall in love.

Genre:

Contemporary Romance

Sport Romance

Dirty Groom is the sixth book in Mira Lyn Kelly's Slayers Hockey series, and this time, centers around Liam and Stormy. One fateful night in Las Vegas, two strangers with broken hearts find one another, and form a plan. Get married, and never see each other again. A marriage, after all, would keep them from another relationship, and another broken heart. That is the plan ... until a year later, when Liam see's Stormy at the airport, and chases her down. He has a plan to fix their mistake. But when their lives begin to intertwine in an unexpected way, neither of them can seem to resist one another ... or keep themselves from falling in love.

First of all, I would like to thank Mira Lyn Kelly and her team for sending me an arc of Dirty Groom, in exchange for a fair and honest review.

I really enjoy Mira Lyn Kelly's work. I love the Slayer's Hockey series. I just didn't love Dirty Groom. There isn't anything that stands out as a cause. I just wasn't feeling it. I didn't feel like there was enough chemistry between Liam and Stormy, and I just didn't feel very invested in their relationship. I also felt that there was not enough Slayers! Some of the best moments in the Slayers Hockey series is when the team gets involved and gives advice. Now, don't come at me, because I know there is a part of the book where some hilarious advice is given, but it just didn't feel the same.

While Dirty Groom wasn't my favorite in the series, I still really do love the series as a whole. Mira Lyn Kelly writes good romance, with fun characters. And Dirty Groom may be one of your favorites! Especially if you love a marriage of convenience trope.
