Ben was Arobynn Hamel's second in command in the Assassin's Guild, until his death in The Assassin and the Pirate. He helped train many of the younger assassins, including Celaena and Sam, and Celaena remembers him being someone she could count on to listen, and give advice when she needed it. He also helped treat her various injuries over the years. Celaena admits to having a crush on him when she was too young to understand the impossibility of it.

Ben was one of the few people who was always kind to Celaena, and she was upset by his unexpected death. Despite Sam telling her it was too dangerous to retrieve his body, Celaena manages to bring Ben's body back to the keep. While Arobynn claims he doesn't know why Ben involved himself with Gregori's mission, which led to his death, Sam suspects Arobynn knows more than what he is telling.

Gregori was one of the seven assassin's Arobynn Hamel trusted most in his guild. Celaena didn't like Gregori, and he didn't much like her. When she was ten, he threw a dagger at her after he caught her feeding his horse candy. She threw the dagger back at him, and it sliced his cheek, leaving a scar. During a mission, he is caught by a royal guard and is held in the dungeons. Arobynn has him assassinated by poison, which is common practice when an assassin is caught, to protect the guild's members and location.

Harding is one of Arobynn's favored assassins. He is the assassin who stands in front of Sam when Arobynn beats Celaena. He is one of the three assassin's that buy the assassin's guild from Aelin after Arobynn's death.

Ilias is the Mute Master's only son. He is considered very handsome, with dark hair, sea-green eyes, tan skin, and dazzlingly white teeth. Celaena notes that he is taller than Sam. He has broad shoulders, and is built but not bulky. His hands are scarred from years of training with weapons.

Ilias is silent by choice like his father. He is often immersed in his training and meditation, which is why Ansel finds it interesting when he takes a liking to Celaena. Ansel describes him as aloof. He doesn't carry weapons on him in the fortress. Celaena feels like he radiates contentment.

Ilias spends the night of the Midsummer ball dancing with Celaena. When he tries to kiss her at the end of the night, Celaena stops him, telling him she doesn't want to start anything when she will be leaving soon, and he respects that, and waves goodnight.

During the battle between Lord Berick's soldiers and the assassin's, he is wounded by Ansel. Celaena finds him laying next to Mikhail's body, holding his bleeding belly. He is ultimately saved after Celaena subdues Ansel. The wound missed his organs, and he was able to heal up.

Mikhail was one of the acolytes in the Silent Assassin's. He had curly hair and dark eyes. Celaena describes him as handsome, but has a smile that reminds her of Captain Rolfe, which she finds unnerving. She doesn't think he could be older than 25.

Mikhail said that one day, he might go out into the world one day and work for some one, but at that moment, he was happy to stay where he was. It's insinuated that he was staying because he loved Ansel of Briarcliff. He started seeing Ansel when she was 15, and he was 22. Ansel gets annoyed with him, because he doesn't make much of an effort to hide their relationship. Celaena notes that he is always finding excuses to touch Ansel, always smiling at her, and always looks at her as if she is the only one in the room.

Mikhail is killed during the battle between Lord Berick's men and the Silent Assassin's. When he figured out what Ansel was doing, he tried to stop her. She cut his throat. It is alluded to that his death is the only one she truly is saddened by.

Mullin is one of Arobynn's favored assassins. He was one of the men who held Sam back the night Arobynn beats Celaena. Mullin is one of the three assassin's who took over the guild after Aelin offered it to them for a price.

Wesley was Arobynn Hamel's bodyguard. While not an official assassin, he is as skilled as one. Celaena thinks that a fight with him would be interesting. Celaena believed that Wesley didn't like her much.
